Designed by a mum, for mums

Ubere Mama was founded by a breastfeeding mum who struggled to find comfortable and fashionable clothing to wear whilst breastfeeding in public.

“While breastfeeding eventually worked for me, the quality of breastfeeding clothes didn’t. As a fashion designer, I wanted a range that would boost my confidence, support my independence, and work just as hard as I did. “

Where are we now?

Fast-forward 10 years and Ubere Mama is now helping lots of women dress for breastfeeding success. Our award-winning tops have concealed zippers on each side for easy and discreet breastfeeding when out and about. These can be worn long after a mum has finished breastfeeding.

We are on a mission to give women the choice and support they need to make breastfeeding work for them. Not just through sustainable British-made breastfeeding clothes that stand the test of time, but by building a network of breastfeeding advocates across the nation to make a lasting difference for future mums unsure about breastfeeding their babies. Helping the community of mums, now and for years to come.

Net Zero Future

Sustainability

We have worked hard to improve our products, and proud to say that all the cotton used is now organic, and the polyester is recycled. Additionally, the zippers are made from recycled polyester.

We believe in circular fashion and offer our customers the option to return products when they are finished with them. In exchange for a voucher refund, We then sell these preloved items to other customers at a lower price than new products.

We also offer bespoke hire packages from 1 month to 6 months.

Made in Britain

Although cheaper manufacturing from Europe and the Far East is alluring it is important that Ubere Mama sources fabrics and trims through UK companies – we have taken the choice to design and manufacture all Ubere Mama garments in the UK.

We became a Member of the UK Trade organization Make it British – where there is a huge following of brands across a broad spectrum of manufacturing sectors that are turning more to have their goods made in the UK.  Wanting to contribute in returning growth to the UK Fashion and Textile Industry  – but more importantly caring about reducing the large carbon footprint that Fashion stamps across the world That is why we have made the Make It British commitment.
